Additionally, if your child has already received the H1N1 vaccine and is under the age of 10, he or she will require a second dose 30 days after the first dose was administered. The H1N1 influenza vaccine is available in both the live, intranasal (the nasal spray vaccine) and the inactivated (the "flu shot") formulations.
